Public health is important because it affects the overall well-being and quality of life of individuals, families, and communities. Good public health is essential for a strong and productive society, as it helps to prevent the spread of diseases, ensure access to healthcare, and promote healthy lifestyles.

Investment in public health infrastructure: Increasing investment in public health infrastructure, including disease surveillance systems, laboratory capacity, and healthcare workers, to improve the ability to detect, respond to, and control public health threats.
Evidence-based policymaking: Implementing evidence-based policymaking, by relying on the best available scientific evidence and data to inform public health decisions.

By implementing these and other reforms, it may be possible to improve public health policy and better handle public health crises, with fewer casualties and a more rapid return to normal life.
Creator Notes
We've recreated the chaos caused by COVID on the government in the past few years, with a special focus on how it screwed over marginalized folks. Of course, at the start, it affected everyone equally as we all freaked out. And just when you thought things couldn't get any crazier, we added a card to the game that makes everything even more random. It's a real shocker when you stumble upon it, especially if your opponent is desperate enough to use it.
